Counseling for Black Lesbian Women and Gender Non-Conforming and Folks
What It’s About
A supportive space to explore, embrace, and fully step into your identity – on your terms.
There’s constant pressure to conform to the standards society sets; especially those of us who came through the Black church. We’re told how to live, love, express ourselves, and show up in the world. When we don’t fit the mold, we’re often ostracized, criticized, and made to feel like we’re not enough.
Over time, this pressure can push us to hide or change parts of who we are – especially for those of us who are queer. It can feel like survival requires shrinking ourselves.
Therapy can be a space where you lay all of that down. A space to reconnect with yourself, soften the noise of outside voices, and finally feel safe being fully, unapologetically you.
